Thank you Danielle, we had a wonderful stay. Hunter Valley was all we had hoped it would be and we will be back! The cottage was perfect and we appreciated the little things to make our stay even better like breakfast, the wine, the fireplace. All the best for the opening of your Cellar Door.

We had such a wonderful time during our stay. We loved afternoon walks between the vines and watching the sunset in such a beautiful cottage. We can't wait to come back. Thanks to Danielle, what a lovely family you have.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. It was just what we all needed, to feel like we had a break away. Thanks for the delicious bottle of wine that we had sitting outside admiring the skys and listening to the sounds of nature.

We were made to feel very welcome. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and a range of vineyards.

Absolutely beautiful location, beautiful cottage and beautiful service. Loved every second in my 'home away from home'. Wine was amazing and hospitality and everything was lovely. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Absolutely sublime spot in amongst the vines, super clean, great brekkie hamper that lasted us both mornings - and the pool was a great extra!

I have stayed here on a few occasions in Cabernet cottage and last week in the Merlot cottage. It is such a special place, we had the fire going in the evening after a day of wine, chocolate and cheese tasting. The hosts gave us some great tips on where to go on our tasting trip and we covered quite a few with the highlights being Scarborough winery (complementary cheese plate) and Sandlyn estate with their gorgeous balsamic and oils. Something for everyone and such a great place to stay. I can't wait until I'm able to go back again, soon I hope. Thank you to Declan and Danielle for the supplies you left for breakfasts and the very nice bottle of your Semillon, I'm now a convert

We recently stayed in the Merlot Cabin, McCaffrey's Estate as two mothers/friends taking our small group of kids up to experience the Hunter Valley Gardens Winter Festival, during these current winter school holidays. From our initial welcome to our reluctant exit from McCaffrey's Estate, I really cannot fault a single thing about our lovely Merlot Cabin during our stay. As a major "germaphobe", my initial observation was how beautiful the spotlessly clean slate floor smelt and looked, and how every surface was impeccably clean. From the convenient location, the extremely generous hamper extras unexpectedly left for us in the fridge for breakfast, complimentary bottle of wine, ground coffee for my coffee obsession, amazing electric blankets, stacked wood for our indoor open fireplace, personalised lighting of said fire as we were unable to do it ourselves (#@!!) ... all the creature comforts you require ... fantastic! ... Thanks so much Danielle and Declan, we will definitely be back 🙂

From the moment my booking was confirmed Danielle was fantastic with emails and tips to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We arrived late at night and she was there to welcome us. The Cabernet Cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed . The breakfast supplies were more than ample with bacon, eggs, bread, milk, cereals, spreads, tea and coffee. The bottle of wine was a welcome surprise. Amazing views! We even watched fireworks from a nearby concert. The beds were so comfortable and the softest bath towels too. Such a peaceful place to relax and wander the vineyards and in close proximity to wineries, restaurants, cafes and the local sights.

Beautiful peaceful location with vineyards behind. Large cottage with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. Complimentary bottle of wine, breakfast provisions including bacon and eggs, loaf of bread, fresh milk, cereals all provided. Well furnished and very comfortable. Area outside to sit and eat and admire the surroundings. We were invited to wander round the vineyard and even took the family dog (Very lovely) with us! A home away from home.

Loved the additional touches of breakfast in our room and a bottle of the local wine. Also the location was so perfect. we could cycle to 5 or 6 vineyards plus a brewery and lots of lovely restaurants. The bus for Hope Estate concerts picks you up from right outside the hotel so its a perfect spot for any trip to the Hunter Valley. Would definitely come back.

Danielle The owner was so kind and such a wonderful help. Providing information about the area, things to do, tours etc before we even got there so that we could plan our trip. She was so welcoming upon arrival. The land was so beautiful to walk around. We even received a lovely homely touch of a breakfast hamper to keep us going for the day. I have never met a kinder owner of a property before! Such wonderful customer service. I will be back for sure 🙂 🙂
